Two posts in one day will catch us up.
Day Ten: Start Story with: “She touched The Little box in her pocket and smiled…”
She touched the little box in her pocket and smiled. Sweet, sweet deliciousness. The thought of cracking open the box of chocolate and eating made her mouth salivate. She could already feel the chocolate melting slowly in her mouth brining her taste buds to life. A smile lifted her lips and she skipped down the cobblestone driveway.
“Mom” She shouted flinging the door open and slamming it shut behind her. She dug into her pocket taking out the sweet treat.
“Mommy, I’m home.” She skipped her way down the hall and pounded at her parents closed bedroom door. A door that was never closed during the day.
She tried the handle after five unanswered shouts to her mother. What she saw made her drop the chocolate and her vocal chords worked out an ear piercing scream, involuntary. Before on the carpet lay her mother blooded and dead.
