I’m excited because it’s another horror movie and because I briefly know about La Llorona but the trailer is looking very predictable and I did not jump. I’m more excited to see what they do with this legend and I hope what they showed in the trailer is not a what the movie is about. A predictable horror movie and with predictable jump scares.
As we know, James Wan produced it and will be directed by Michael Chaves. Reading into the directing and The Conjuring series I found that James Wan said he would not be directing any other Conjuring movies so we will be stuck with new directors.
So we will see how this one will go, the movie comes out April 19th, 2019.

Embrace the Madness 
I feel the same as you do, predictable jumps and such… and that’s sad with James Wan not directing any more Conjuring movies or horror for that matter (well, for now), he’s stuck in the DC universe. But I’ll give it a watch because ya know, horror!
I know that sucks!! Yeah I hope it’s original scenes outside of the trailer or at least the plot is well written.
