Let’s Talk: The Nun

the nunWelcome to another great day at the circus.   I hope you are as excited as we are to see La Llorona.

This morning I, your ring mistress, will be giving you my thoughts on The Nun.

I know Scribe was debating on posting this but I have decided since I am in control to go ahead with it.  What better time than in the middle of Carnival of Madness.

The movie was good in the sense of it was a well-executed horror movie but that’s what it was.  It wasn’t unique although there were some scenes I loved.

It felt as if I could predict most things, which I don’t mind.  I still get an adrenaline rush from the way the camera sways and looking for clues.  Horror movies are a good brain game.  This was a great story and thought out.

love that we get the backstory on The Nun.  I love that it is another edition in The Conjuring Universe and that in the end, we see the connection the other movies.  I think one of the reasons for success is that it was apart of a well branded and loved movie series.

All in all I would give this a solid B-

Let me know what you think?

  1. The nun from the conjuring was the little boy who mom beat him and dressed like a girl right? So he dressed like a nun and killed women??! Am I remembering this correctly? Either way I’m still scared to watch it but intrigued based off of your review
