La Llorona is being made into a movie! I’m so excited and surprised. It was crazy because a friend and I were talking about La Llorona a couple weeks ago and then I was on Snapchat and saw this big gem of a trailer. And our boy is the producer, James Wan.
I was introduced to La Llorona in Spanish class in high school, I believe. When I was listening to the background of her, I was a little freaked out. So my jist of knowledge is that she drowned her children and passed away and comes back looking for her children and takes other children in replace of them.
It is so amazing that James Wan choose this as his next project.
I am soooooo excited it. What a way to start off the second day of October Madness.
